Destination

Awakening the destiny of all nations to make disciples of all nations

Who we are

Destination (DN) is a Mission Movement working to raise up multi-national teams to bless the least reached places along the Silk Road, in Central Asia, the middle East and Europe through worshiping, praying, church-planting and relief of poverty.

Destination (DN) began in the 1990's with one young British missionary and a group of dedicated Korean students. The first training program took place in 1997 in Swansea Bible College, Wales UK. Since then we have trained over 700 young Koreans for short and long-term missions. More than 50 have gone on to long-term (5 years or more) missions work. We have established works in Korea, Kyrgyzstan, China, Iran, Turkey, Tunisia, Macedonia, UK and France. We are now focusing mainly on Europe, the Silk Road N. Africa and the Middle East with short, long-term and mobile teams.

Since 2015 Iranian, Afghan, Tunisian and Algerian Muslim background believers have also joined DN as mission workers , ministering in church planting, training of indigenous mission movements and envisioning and mobilizing of established churches.

As of 2023 we are working with believers from Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, USA, Australia, Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Iran and Afghanistan.

Vision Statement

Destination (DN) believes that every nation has a calling to join the end-time harvest of the as yet unreached.

We are a mission movement working to raise up indigenous teams (particularly muslim background believers) to plant missional church in the least reached places along the Silk Road, in Central Asia, the middle East and Europe through worshiping, prayer and discipleship.

How we work

  • Through preaching and envisioning for the task of missions in places where the church is established
  • Through mobilising and training young people for cross-cultural ministry
  • Through focused intercessory prayer, mobile prayer teams and united prayer movements
  • Through evangelism and planting of simple communities of believers in unreached areas
  • Through counselling, prayer and training for emotional and spiritual well-being, and the strengthening of marriage relationships and families.
  • Through nurturing and mentoring of indigenous leaders
  • Through business as mission - advising and mentoring locals in planting businesses to provide jobs and discipling opportunities
  • Through scholarships - for the disadvantaged who are in poverty such as persecuted christians, refugees, and those affected by disasters so that they can receive a good education
  • Through provision and distribution of relief

We believe in…

  • The one true God who lives eternally in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
  • The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God — fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
  • The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
  • The incarnation of God's eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the Virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
  • The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.
  • The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; His ascension to the Father, and His reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
  • The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
  • The ministry of God, the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
  • The Church, the Body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers — given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.
  • The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.
  • This basis of faith is identical to that of the Evangelical Alliance in the United Kingdom.
  • We adhere to the Lausanne declaration of 1974.
  • We are a multi-denominational community of believers.
  • We believe in prayer as the basis for all ministry.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

 John 3:16 (NIV)

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

 Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
